IT Systems Manager - TELUS International Philippines, Inc. - National Capital Reg - Taguig


Responsibilities


1. Manages a group of System Administrators in providing I.T. services to contact center operations and support groups, such as LAN access, file storage, Internet, software applications, call recordings, email, etc on both local and global (Canada and US).
2. Ensures that the IT Systems KPIs and metrics, such as reliability, efficiency, and availability, are met.
3. Develops and enforces policies, standards and procedures to avoid unnecessary issues with regards to Systemsoperation.
4. Coordinates with Regional and Global I.T. Management regarding forecasts, plans, and projects for I.T. systems. Ensures that Company systems are top-notch and competitive in the industry, and are able to meet the expanding requirements of the Company.
5. Oversees the daily activities and performance of the team. Ensures their professional growth and development. Conducts System Administrator work with minimum supervision from I.T. Management.
6. Evaluates the status and condition of IT Systems infrastructure and recommends short and long term expansions, aligned with TI global standards and requirements, to proactively anticipate the growth of the organization and support to global operation.
7. Provides support for Global IT and internal and external customers / users. Resolves all systems administrative requests forwarded by the Global Helpdesk Provide prompt resolutions to users, preventing delays that impact call center Operations and the activities of other Support groups.
8. Builds relationship and closely coordinates with vendors and suppliers for I.T. related products / services. Negotiates for the most cost-effective option for systems infrastructure / services required.


Requirements




  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT / Computer-related course.

  • Required Certification: MCSA, MCSE

  • 3-5 years IT systems experience in an administrator/supervisory/managerial role

  • Excellent working knowledge of I.T. systems and equipment as well as their installation, administration, configuration, maintenance, and repair.

  • Working knowledge of I.T. requirements / demands in a call center Operations and organization, particularly in the area of Operations support.

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.

  • Advance time and project management skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Fluency in the English language.

  • Adaptive to changing work schedules and working hours.

  • Excellent customer orientation and good business acumen.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

  • Amenable to work in night shift.

  • Willing to be based in Market, Market, Taguig City
