Jr. Producer (Creative Solutions)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Arrange appointments/schedules for subject models, photographers, stylists, personalities, as assigned by the managing editor.
- Coordinate with government agencies to secure necessary permits, as needed.
- Assist in Presswork specifically for technical support.
- Disseminate guidelines received from the ME/AME to writers and photographers regarding projects.
- Delegate work assignments to photographers, make-up artists, contributing researchers and other external affiliates.
- Supervise arrangements for photo shoots.
- Assist in photo shoots, if needed.
- Together with the ME and AME, coordinate with other departments such as Advertising, Sales and Marketing to make sure that requirements and deadlines set are met.
- Meet daily deadlines set for own staff and department in coordination with the ME and AME.
- Keep track of a database for all contacts such as writers, photographers, models, artists, etc.
- Responsible in the hiring of staff members and in the exercise of staff discipline for the production team, if needed.
- Responsible for drafting, routing, filing and maintaining expense reports, check requests, reimbursements, liquidations, vehicle requisition, room requisition and other administrative functions.
- Perform other administrative functions related to the job as per request (filing, retrieving, safekeeping of photos and files, etc.).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Journalism, Mass Communications or equivalent.
- Applicants should possess excellent people and time management skills.
- Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
